Panic! at the Disco covers Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and it rocks

In case you’re unaware, Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” is one of the best rock songs of all time.

Of. All. Time.

The mix of awesome lyrics, a few face-melting solos and Freddie Mercury’s voice is epic. It’s still a hugely popular song. I mean, come on, it was even in “Wayne’s World!” (Shut up. I like “Wayne’s World.”)

It’s a song that a lot of bands have tried to cover over the years, but none have come close. Well, until now.

Panic! at the Disco is best known for its pop-punk sound and huge appeal to angsty teenagers. Who knew that lead singer Brendon Urie could sound so close to Mercury? Who knew his band could finally honor the hit the way it deserves?

Finally, how many teenagers were Googling “Bohemian Rhapsody” after seeing this? It’s about time they were educated on good music.
