If more airlines had attendants like this woman on their flights, I bet people would pay more attention to those pre-flight "in case of emergency" announcements.

I know I would.

The people aboard a recent Southwest Airlines flight to Salt Lake City were in for a riotous three minutes when a female flight attendant used the flight's PA system to explain the plane's emergency protocols.

From poking (gentle) fun at smokers to those traveling with children to even her own grandmother, adding (probably rehearsed) humor to the rote speech was clearly as much for her benefit as it is for the passengers'.

If only she had "dropped the mic" when she was done.
