For most little boys, Dad is as close to they come as having a real-life hero in the house.
He's big. He's strong. He fixes boo-boos. Dad rocks.
But according to Mashable, one dad, Daniel Hashimoto, decided to turn the tables. Rather than setting himself up to be the hero, he used his experience as an animator at Dreamworks to make his son, James, become the star of his own action movies.
These special effects help James seemingly blast into space in a McDonald's playhouse or dangle from the ceiling using a grappling gun. Hashimoto also packs in film references to action classics like The Matrix and the Star Wars saga.
