Who would have thought that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky, would have triggered an internet craze?

According to The Washington Post, McConnell's campaign released an ad with nothing but instrumental music playing under clips of a smiling McConnell.

And it was with those 2 1/2 minutes that "McConnelling" was born.

Pieces of the ad were then used everywhere, from re-edits of intros of '90s sitcoms to inserting other musical pieces while the ad would play.

Even "The Daily Show" jumped on the "McConnelling" bandwagon, asking viewers to see if there was any song that did NOT work with the ad. So far...nope.
