It is illegal to BASE jump at the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort in Vancouver, but that didn't stop this guy.
Enlisting the help of a 23-year-old female employer who has since been arrested, the male BASE jumped from a resort gondola onto a snowy peak on Feb. 6.
The jump was about 1,430 feet, as the male began "at the highest point over Fitzsimmons Creek," according to the Vancouver Sun.
The woman is being charged with mischief over $5,000 and obstruction. She has since been released and will appear in court in April.
Authorities said they know the identity of the BASE jumper, but he has not yet been located.
In order to have complete the unauthorized jump, police said he had to force open the gondola door, resulting in $10,000 in damages.
If you're going to engage in illegal activity, don't videotape it. Or at least, don't show your face.
