The Lasso: Roping in the best of the web

Photographer uses GoPro to film lion cubs up close

I would never try getting this close to a lion cub.

I've seen "Lion King." I'm fully aware that a real-life Nala would not only pin me as she did Simba, but would most likely enjoy my face as lunch if I tried to get this close to her cubs.

But photographer Chris Bray had a great idea while on a safari: Attach a GoPro camera to a remote-control car and drive right up to the cubs.

The video's description said the video was filmed during one of several two-week safaris in Kenya.

Apparently Bray is no stranger to this type of filming -- his channel features several videos that used the same idea -- and he's used it to capture numerous types of animals that humans other than Tarzan would be smart to stay away from.
