No one ever said parenting was easy, but one dad uses his prior organizational skills to pass his days in a humorous, heartwarming way.
Back in May 2010, Chris Illuminati quit his job to become a stay-at-home dad for his new son reported moreClaremore.
When beginning his endeavor, Chris stated "As a reminder of everything going on with my writing, I leave Post-It Notes around my office as reminders. I decided to incorporate those same organizational principles while watching my son."
His Post-Its range from astute parental observations to silly stories to conversations he has had with his wife, who he calls "Permanent Roommate." He also never calls his son by name, simply referring to him as "kid" or "baby."
Woke up at 3am to find kid crying and covered in vomit. Had to clean him, clothes and bed. And they said I wouldn't learn *anything* being in a fraternity.
He even references the BBC series "Doctor Who," so he probably has some downtime in between naptimes and feeding times. Or maybe he watches it with baby?
People have warned me about turning my back on baby, but I think better advice would be "Don't Blink."
Illuminati continues to update his website with sticky notes, so head on over if you're in need of a warm chuckle.
