With temperatures across the nation plummeting to absurd lows, people have to find ways to keep busy.

Some may stay inside, enjoy some coffee and just wait it out. Others test how long it takes boiling water to freeze in sub-zero weather (Spoiler: Not long).

But for three Minnesota boys, the winter weather is nothing more than a blank canvas. According to, Austin, Connor and Trevor used snow to build a 20-foot shark in their yard.

It took the boys weeks to build the sculpture and they had to take snow for their neighbors' yards to make it possible.

Check out a video progression of the shark's construction below. Is it just me, or does he kind of look like Bruce, the shark from "Finding Nemo?"
