D.C. Santa Claus shot with pellet gun

That's certainly a way to land yourself on the naughty list.

According to WJLA-TV, a man dressed as Santa Claus was handing out presents in Washington, D.C. when he was shot with a pellet gun.

And it was all caught on video.

According to an ABC7 photographer who was interviewing the victim at the time of the shooting, the man in the Santa suit was struck in his upper back. He was transported to a nearby hospital with the pellet still lodged in his shoulder.

The unidentified man wanted to continue giving out gifts, but paramedics insisted he be treated.

Witnesses said they heard two pellet gun shots.

Despite Santa dropping out, the giveaway went on. A man dressed as the Grinch jumped in to help.
