Here’s something you don’t see every day.
A YouTube user caught something rare on camera recently: Hundreds of dolphins swimming in unison.
On Friday, YouTube user Rob Maguire posted a two-minute video of a “superpod” of dolphins in the Strait of Georgia, which curves from the tip of Washington state and well into British Columbia, Canada.
Maguire said he was on a BC Ferries vessel headed to Vancouver. He claimed more than 1,000 dolphins were swimming alongside the ferry.
What the dolphins were swimming from, or toward, is anybody’s guess, but it made for a fascinating sight.
Makes you kind of want to go on a cruise, doesn’t it?
