Taco Bellgate, Part 2: Resolution
A day after a public relations headache set in, fast-food giant Taco Bell is desperate for the world to know that the taco shells licked by an employee and photographed were not for public consumption.
No, those taco shells were specifically set aside for training purposes, the company said Tuesday in an online statement.
The corporation went on to say the employee/licker was suspended and on the way to being fired and that the co-worker who took the photo, which was posted to Facebook, had already been shown the door.
So there. All taken care of, people. Chow down.
