Most people online are looking for a clever way to take a shot at Amy’s Baking Company in Scottsdale, Ariz., and a Valley pizza place may have found the best way possible.
Rather than posting a small rant or taking to Yelp, Mr. Scrib’s Pizza decided to have their mascot pose outside the embattled business holding a sign.
The sign read:
Mr. Scrib’s <3 customers and never hits them!
While Amy’s is known more for insulting customers than striking them, this effort at viral marketing is surely not the last.
On its Facebook page, Mr. Scrib’s said that the security guards seen in the photo were doing their job and had a laugh over the sign.
Amy’s Baking Company came under harsh online scrutiny after a shocking appearance on Fox’s “Kitchen Nightmares” along with a subsequent Facebook rant. The owners, Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, have since claimed their social media sites were hacked.
