If you love animals, you’ll love this event! Saturday, Sept. 13 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. is Healing Hearts Animal Rescue’s annual “Mane Event Casino Night” at DC Ranch Homestead. They’re raising awareness and money for abused, neglected and homeless animals. We can look forward to great food, really nice people, just-for-fun gaming, music and great prizes. Tickets are $50 each (you can head over here to get a few for yourself) AND I have six to give away!

Healing Hearts Animal Rescue does amazing work. They rescue horses and other animals who have been treated horribly and help nurse them back to health. Arizona Foothills Magazine recently did a piece about the charity. Head over here for more information on how to enter.
