Syrian group says it hacked President Obama's social media accounts
Mashable.com has reported that a group identifying itself as the Syrian Electronic Army has said it hacked the official White House accounts of President Barack Obama.
Twitter and Facebook accounts were affected.
The website said it received email from the group, claiming responsibility for links in tweets that led to a ultra-violent video about the civil war in Syria, then later a redirect to a health care-related site, before finally a note warning that the site was not safe.
The group, which strikes out against opponents of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, has said it has been successful in other hacks.
