Happy Birthday to Spin Doctors' lead vocalist, Chris Barron, born 45 years ago today in Honolulu, HI.
Chris has been with the Doctors from the beginning, when he joined a band called Trucking Company, whose lineup included future Spin Doctors' guitarist, Eric Schenkman and high school friend, John Popper, who left to spend all his time with Blues Traveler.
With the addition of Aaron Comess on drums and Mark White on bass, Spin Doctors quickly earned a reputation for their energy, with special attention to their extended live jams.
With the release of their debut album, 'Pocket Full of Kryptonite' and the singles, 'Little Miss Can't Be Wrong' and 'Two Princes,' Chris and his band had made it in a big way.
