Lost 80s at 4: The history behind "Rickrolling"

According to the founder of the internet image site, 4chan, the "Rickroll" phenomenon began in 2007 when someone posted a link to Rick Astley's music video disguised as a sneak preview for the then newly released videogame Grand Theft Auto IV.
Due to the trailer's high demand at that time, fans of the videogame fell victim to the bait-and-switch prank and the joke became very popular.
Astley himself said he finds the whole thing hilarious.
Today is Rick Astely's birthday. He may be 46 years old but you know he's never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down...
