Ten years ago they were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Billboard Magazine calls them the No. 1 duo of all time.
They have seven platinum albums and six gold albums.
They had 34 singles chart with six of them going to No. 1. On this date in 1982, one of those singles, Physical, ended Olivia Newton-John's ten week run at the top of the charts.
Hall & Oates "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" would be their fourth No. 1.
