Lost 80s at 4 with Steve Douglas: Motels' Davis turns 62
The Motels, called a New Wave band out of Los Angeles, had a couple of Top 10 hits in the early 80s. Martha Davis, driving force behind the band and lead vocalist turns 62 today. Her song "Only The Lonely" won an award for Best Performance in a Music Video at the American Music Awards in 1982.
