We're celebrating R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe's 53rd birthday today.
His birthday was actually Friday, January 4th, but we were an hour into our 90's Weekend on The Peak, so we'll celebrate today with the R.E.M.'s "Orange Crush" which held the #1 spot on the Billboard Modern Rock charts on this date in 1989:
