PHOENIX -- Phoenix firefighters battled a fire that's engulfed a storage facility near 21st Street and Greenway Road.

Flames and smoke fully engulfed the entire facility. Flames could be seen shooting 15 feet in the air.

At least a dozen fire official trucks were on the scene, including two Phoenix Fire ladder trucks that were shooting thousands of gallons of water onto the flames.

As of 8:20 a.m. -- less than an hour after it started -- it looked like fire fighters were getting the upper hand of the flames and the smoke was starting to lighten up.

KTAR Traffic reporter "Detour" Dan Beach reported it looked like it was "one giant square of flame" as giant balls of flame popped into the sky.

There are several mobile trailers on the property that appears to be in a residential area.

The home was saved and there were no injuries, according to Phoenix firefighter Kevin Kalkbrenner.

The cause is not yet known because of the heat produced by the fire.

Beach reports propane tanks in one of the trailers have exploded.

He says the property seems to be in a sever decay.

There is a school nearby but it is in absolutely no danger.
