DISH: Chris Brown's dad doesn't want him dating Rihanna
He told the New York Daily News:
"I personally really didn't want him and Rihanna back together. I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse -- I mean I could go on and on! Is that a given -- that you can't have fortune and fame without [death] being the end result?"
If Chris wasn't dating Rihanna, Brown's dad was asked whom would be a better fit. He replied that American Idol winner Jordin Sparks would be his pick: "She's a wholesome young lady, very pretty."
The Elton John-Madonna feud is over
Pop fans worldwide can rejoice because it seems like the decade-long feud between music legends Elton John and Madonna has come to an end, according to his interview with Extra.
Elton says that he and Madonna ran into each other at a restaurant in France last summer. When she walked in, he sent over a note:
"She was very gracious. I apologized profusely because what I said should never have appeared in public. She accepted our apology, and then we bought her dinner. That's over and done with. She was really great about it."
The feud in question began in 2002, when Elton bashed Madonna's song for the 007 film "Die Another Day," calling it "the worst Bond tune ever."
In 2004, John accused Madonna of lip syncing during her Re-Invention Tour and then again before her Super Bowl performance, when he bid her good luck by saying, "Make sure you lip-sync good."
