DISH: Jimmy Fallon to replace Jay Leno, 'The Tonight Show' to move to New York
Although a deal isn't done, NBC has apparently struck a deal with Fallon to replace Jay Leno as host of the iconic late-night program, most likely taking over in the fall of 2014.
Tonight hasn't taken place in the Big Apple since it debuted with Steve Allen in 1954. Host Johnny Carson eventually moved it to Burbank, California, in 1972.
It won't be the first time Leno has left Tonight. In 2009, he moved to prime time with The Jay Leno Show, with Conan O'Brien as his replacement. Seven months later, NBC announced Leno was returning to his old post.
It's a testament to how incredibly screwed up our justice system is. According to TMZ, Bobby Brown, who was sentenced to 55 days in jail for his 3rd DUI, just served a grand total of 9 hours in jail.
Brown checked into L.A. County Jail at 9:58 AM Wednesday morning. He was released at 6:58 PM that evening.
An L.A.County Sheriff's spokesperson said just days ago Brown would serve 9 days.
Brown was arrested in October after driving erratically on an L.A. street. He plead no contest to DUI and driving on a suspended license. It was his second DUI arrest in 7 months.
Bobby is on 4 years probation and has to attend alcohol education classes for 18 months.
Rihanna's entourage had a slight delay. While making the drive from Canada to Detroit, Michigan, for her Diamonds World Tour, one of a Rihanna's tour buses were stopped by U.S. Border Patrol Wednesday morning after they got a whiff of what smelled like marijuana on someone.
And no, it wasn't Rihanna. A search of the individual resulted in the discovery of a small amount of marijuana and a civil penalty was assessed.
Rihanna performed in Toronto on Tuesday.
