Lindsay Lohan movie coming this summer.
A movie starring Lindsay Lohan and adult film star James Deen will be coming to theaters this summer. IFC Films has announced it has acquired North American distribution rights for The Canyons.
In addition to its theatrical release, The Canyons will also be available on digital platforms.
Even before its release, The Canyons has attracted headlines for Lohan's alleged behavior on set.
In January, The New York Times reported that Lohan was frequently late to the set and often clashed with co-star Deen and the film's director.
Another actress (Leslie Couterrand) was even hired as an understudy for Lohan in case she walked off set and didn't return.
The film's plot centers around a Hollywood couple, played by Lohan and Deen, as their relationship crumbles.
The screenplay was written by acclaimed author Bret Easton Ellis.
The film, which was shot last summer, was made on an estimated budget of just $250,000, with most of the funding coming from online donations.
Alec Baldwin's wife sued.
Alec Baldwin's pregnant wife Hilaria Thomas is facing a lawsuit from one of the students in her January 15 yoga class.
Spencer Wolff claims he suffered severe injuries after asked by the instructor to "perform a dangerous activity at a wall" in a jam-packed room, citing "negligence" on her part for the alleged accident.
Wolff was forced to do a handstand too close to window due to the overcrowded space.
He allegedly hit the window and shattered the glass. He reportedly "ripped open his left leg and foot after he lost his balance and crashed into a sixth-floor window". There was apparently a lot of blood in the dramatic fall.
He was wrapped in a blanket and rushed via ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Wolff accuses the instructor of putting her students in "extreme danger" by letting them "exceed a safe and/or maximum allowable number of persons."
According to one student, her class that opens for beginners and advanced participants with $10 per individual gets insanely crowded that there's only one-inch space or two between mats.

Barker wrote on his Facebook Saturday:
"I still haven't gotten over the horrific events that took place the last time I flew when my plane crashed and 4 people were killed, two being my best friends.I gave the band my blessing to take another drummer if they still wanted to do the tour without me."
The father of two said he had looked into traveling to the country by ship, but that it hadn't panned out.
