WEEHAWKEN, N.J. (AP) – Traffic is back to normal at the Lincoln Tunnel after two separate crashes.
An eight-vehicle crash had closed an outbound tube of the tunnel at about 12:30 p.m. Monday.
That was about two hours after the Port Authority reopened the tunnel after a morning crash involving two buses.
About 20 people were injured in that accident, including two people seriously.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Ron Marsico says five people were injured in the afternoon crash.
