FILE - In this Aug. 2, 2012, file photo, then-Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Douglas Shulman testifies on Capitol Hill in Washington. Shulman heads to Capitol Hill on May 21, 2013, giving lawmakers their first opportunity to question the man who ran the agency when agents were improperly targeting tea party groups. Lawmakers want to know what Shulman knew and when he knew it. They also want to know why Shulman didn’t tell Congress that agents had been singling out conservative political groups for additional scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt status _ even after he was briefed. Can't Believe . . .
. . . that the first issue alone is not the headliner, and that it didn't happen to mention how -- in response to the attack and defacement of our embassy and flag, and the subsequent killing of our ambassador -- our State Department took bold steps to defend America's freedom and security. The apologized for hurting their feelings.

Well here we are again . . .
New article with previous-article comments attached. At least, though, this latest article enumerates news items . . many of which matter on a grand scale and should themselves have been headliners. While Jodi Arias, air force training and Giffords fundraising get headlines, there is this little obligatory, bottom-of-the-page list of nation changing maneuvers in motion, that few will see or understand.
