During a charity auction Thursday night at the Cannes Film Festival, someone paid $1.5 million for the privilege of traveling into space with Leonardo Dicaprio, reports Us Weekly.
Dicaprio and his guest will be passengers on one of those swanky Virgin Galactic flights.
A seat normally costs $200,000, and there's already a waiting list of 529 passengers -- one of them being "Two and a Half Men" star Ashton Kutcher.
The first flight is expected to launch around Christmas, but there's no word who won the seat.
Amanda Bynes was arrested Thursday night after she threw a bong out the window of her 36th-floor New York City apartment.
Police were called after Amanda was seen smoking pot in the lobby of her building.
Police arrested her for possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and reckless endangerment, and took her to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
She's expected to appear in court Friday morning.
According to Radar Online, Lindsay Lohan tried to invite her drug dealer to visit her at Betty Ford.
A source says Lindsay asked the clinic for permission to invite him, but they turned her down.
"Lindsay treatment team told her in no uncertain terms that she needs to sever her relationship with him once she leaves rehab, if she is to overcome her addictions," said the source.
According to TMZ, the IRS just filed a tax lien against Mary J. Blige for $3.4 million.
This is on top of the $900,000 she already owes in back taxes to the state of Jew Jersey.
But, the 42-year-old singer isn't the only celebrity to run from the IRS.
Here is a look at ten other high-profile figures who got busted for failing to "pay up." Stephen Baldwin, Mike Tyson and Kelly Osbourne are among those to make the list.
Justin Bieber was honored with the first-ever "Milestone Award" at Thursday night's Billboard Music Award Show. But as he walked to the stage, there was a lot of booing along with the cheering.
When he got up front, he launched into a very defensive speech that included this:
"I'm 19 years old, I think I'm doing a pretty good job and basically, from my heart, I really wanna say it should really be about the music. It should be about the craft, the craft that I'm making. This is not a gimmick. I'm an artist, and I should be taken seriously and all this other bull should not be spoken of."
If you wanted to kick it with the World's Most Beautiful Woman Gwyneth Paltrow, you may have missed your chance.
According to E! Online, it would have set you back a cool $2,000 — and that's with a Groupon.
The Goop goddess launched an exclusive offer on Groupon.com for a private event, in which fans would travel to New York City, spend two nights at a Hilton hotel, indulge in beauty treatments at Great Jones spa and break bread with the Oscar winner at fancy French restaurant Bistro La Promenade.
But the best part? Gwyneth is also giving private cooking lessons.
Here's the sad news: The deal is already totally sold out.
Shakira won't be back for another season of NBC's "The Voice."
The Latin singing sensation told E! News, "It was a hard decision for me to make, because I'm really fond of the coaches, the people in production and everybody around me but I also have a musical career and I'm also a mother now and my poor baby's so tired flying such long distances. He already has more miles than any pilot."
There are rumors that Usher will also depart from the show, but no official announcement has been made.
Justing Bieber had a fight with his mother
Teen singer Justin Bieber had a bit of an argument with his own mother, Pattie Mallette.
Apparently Pattie wanted to use a photo of her famous son for the cover of her book "Nowhere But Up: The Story Of Justin Bieber's Mom," and Bieber wasn't having it.
She thought that his likeness would boost sales for the 2012 book. But, according to In Touch, when Justin found out, he refused to go along with it, and they had a series of arguments.
On one occasion, it became so bad with the fighting that Justin's manager had to step in and urge him to let it go.
Ultimately, Justin compromised and agreed to a couple of press interviews with Pattie. But he was upset.

As Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas and Scrubs star Zach Braff have learned, Kickstarter can be an excellent method of milking the fanbase for funds when your project doesn't have the oomph to attract investors via traditional methods.
The former Sabrina, the Teenage Witch has canceled her Kickstarter effort to fund her project Darci's Walk of Shame, after the campaign fell short of its goal.
How short?
The campaign drew just over $51,000 dollars, out of a $2 million goal.
The project revolved around Darci Baker, a thirty-something schoolteacher whose trip to Thailand for her sister's wedding goes awry when she discovers her boyfriend, who was attending the wedding as well, in bed with their travel agent.
Thousands of Beliebers came out Sunday night to Johannesburg, in South Africa's FNB Stadium. Later that night the stadium was robbed of more than $300,000, money reportedly from both Bieber's show and Saturday night's Bon Jovi concert.
It's beliebed, uh, believed that the thieves gained entry through the roof.
"The money was taken from the building and they only realised today," a police officer told Reuters. "We don't know how many people were involved as we are still gathering evidence."
Dina Lohan says Lindsay is happy in rehab.
Dina Lohan says her daughter Lindsay is "happy" in rehab at the Betty Ford Center, but other reports claim the troubled starlet already wants to leave.
Dina said Monday, "I just spoke to Lindsay at Betty Ford. She's doing great. She's clear, she's happy, she's healthy."
Dina shot down allegations that her daughter wants to ditch the California rehab center:
"I don't know who's saying that. It's so evil. Lindsay will do what she has to do. She just needs to breathe and find out who she is again. And she's going to stay there and do that."
Kim Kardashian doesn't mind putting her life on display, but her boyfriend does.
In a new interview with the U.K. magazine Fabulous, Kim admits that she and her baby-daddy, Kanye West, deal with their personal lives much differently in the public eye.
"I'm definitely more of a recluse since I was pregnant. But I haven't necessarily decided to hold myself back, it's just preparing myself for respecting the privacy of my child and my boyfriend," she said in the interview. "We live different lives, but I love being open. That's who I've always been. That will never change because that is who I am."
Has Kim really been a recluse since being prego?
In other Kardashian news, Khloe is the latest "swatting" victim.
Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom have become the latest victims of the celebrity "swatting" craze after police raced to their Los Angeles home to investigate reports that the athlete had been shot.
Authorities swarmed the couple's mansion on Friday after receiving an emergency call alleging that the Los Angeles Clippers star had been seriously injured following a heated argument with a friend. But, cops soon discovered the incident was just another sick hoax as Odom was found alone and alive and well at the property.
The false alarm was the latest in a string of fake crimes reported by pranksters in recent months, which have targeted stars such as Justin Bieber, Tom Cruise, Clint Eastwood, Rihanna and Kardashian's mom and stepdad, Kris and Bruce Jenner.
Jenner will launch her talk show in July, but producers are having trouble attracting a list of guests to appear on the show.
A source claims it's gotten so bad that Kris is relying on her business partner Ryan Seacrest to pull in the celebrities -- but even he seems to be striking out. "Not many stars want to be associated with Kris or her show."
Bravo could soon be down one "Real Housewives" series. The cable network has threatened to cancel "The Real Housewives of New York City" as early as Friday if all six cast members have not signed new contracts.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a source close to the negotiations says the reality series' stars LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson have all refused to sign new contracts if their salaries don't increase.
Production on the sixth season was set to begin on Wednesday, but none of the six women made themselves available for filming.
A Bravo representative declined to comment.
The cast members all negotiate separate deals and are paid different amounts, depending on how long they have been with the show. However, each cast member is said to have expressed displeasure with Bravo's financial offer.
OK! magazine has recently released the salaries of The Real Housewives of New York City. Sonja Morgan is the most paid earning $220,000, Aviva Drescher grabs $200,000 and Heather Thompson makes $175,000.
Negotiations are said to have begun about three weeks ago but little progress has been made.
"In 2010, Chattanooga surprised America becoming the first American city to have a community-wide 'Gig' fiber network offering up to 1-gigabit-per-second Internet and broadband service, with its network covering the entire 600-square-mile area and every 150,000-plus homes."
In the movie, Iron Man seems desperate to escape Chattanooga in order to get better Wi-Fi.
