Carlos Santana's Christmas miracle

(AP Photo/KRON-TV)

If you don't believe in Christmas miracles, this might change your mind.

Carlos Santana reunited with his former band mate Marcus Malone who has been homeless for decades. Malone, who played percussion for Santana's band over 40 years ago, had been living on the streets of Oakland for years when a reporter discovered him rummaging through garbage one day.

After he was featured on a segment called People Behaving Badly, Carlos Santana's manager asked the reporter to set up a reunion. On Friday the two were reunited while the cameras were rolling.

Santana is now helping Malone get back on his feet. On Sunday he told CNN, "We wrote a song for him called ‘Magnificent Marcus Malone" which he hopes to have Malone play percussion on when his band heads into the studio in January.
