With "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" releasing on Friday, Jennifer Lawrence, the film's ever-so-loveable star, leads a hectic life. It turns out her busy schedule is seemingly taking a toll on her health.
Lawrence appeared on Wednesday's episode of the "Late Show with David Letterman," where she revealed a recent stomach problem landed her in the hospital.
"I went to the emergency room," she told the "Late Show" host. "I just had this really bad pain for three weeks."
Lawrence's original thought was that it could be an ulcer, but doctors told her the problem is either in her lower intestine or just in her mind. She thinks the latter could be true. "I might actually be crazy," she joked.
Lawrence's schedule didn't give doctors enough time to perform the several tests needed for a diagnosis. She said she knows something is wrong and won't stop until she finds out what it is.
The interview then switched gears to other quirky topics, until Lawrence paused and said she was cold. Producers scrambled and brought her out a blanket. A very large, very pink blanket, which she and Letterman snuggled up underneath.
Lawrence's complete interview is below. Talks about her health scare begin around 4:30 into the clip.
