Carrie Underwood's highly anticipated Sunday Night Football theme, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," aired on NBC for the first time before the Dallas Cowboys' game against the New York Giants.

The 30-year-old country music superstar took over for Faith Hill, who has performed the song for the past five NFL seasons.

Underwood's version is set to the tune of Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You" and seemingly has a more "rock 'n' roll sound" than that of Faith Hill.
