Wildfire smoke to be visible near Flagstaff and Sedona this week

PHOENIX — Smoke from the lightning-caused Echo Fire in Coconino National Forest is expected to be more noticeable during the week in Sedona and Flagstaff.
The 220-acre fire, burning at a low to moderate intensity, is producing light smoke. As firefighters begin to contain the fire, the smoke will become more visible.
The blaze is located 10 miles northwest of Sedona. The smoke is predicted to blow into Flagstaff during the day. At night, the smoke could impact Sedona and surrounding areas.
