A petition on change.org is calling for Gov. Doug Ducey and two others to take down Confederate monuments on Arizona’s public land.
According to the petition, there are two separate monuments in Picacho State Park. The monuments were put down by Neo-Confederate organizations during the height of the Civil Rights movement.
This petition is following the national conversation on the meaning of the Confederate flag.
There are many major retailers announcing that they will no longer sell Confederate flags.
