Shooting, car wreck wake up Phoenix neighborhood

PHOENIX — Two people were shot during a home invasion and another was seriously injured in a related car accident early Tuesday morning in Phoenix.
A police spokesman said someone in the home near 21st Avenue and Northern Avenue was shot during the attempted burglary and so was a suspect.
The suspects escaped in a car only to crash into another vehicle in the intersection of 21st Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
Police caught the suspects running from the crash site.
