PHOENIX — The eastbound Loop 202 reopened late Tuesday afternoon after a serious crash closed the highway east of the downtown Phoenix area, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
The highway was shut down early Tuesday morning after a female driver drove up the embankment and hit a light pole, according to the Department of Public Safety.
The highway was closed at Gilbert Road, where traffic was forced to exit.
