Man survives after truck rolls 30 feet down Arizona embankment

PHOENIX — An 82-year-old man escaped
serious injury Wednesday when his pickup truck went off a highway near Superior and down a
30-foot embankment, the Pinal County Sheriff’s office said.
Mark Clark with the sheriff’s office said the crash happened near the Queen Creek Tunnel on U.S. 60.
A rescue team used a basket and ropes to bring the man back up to the
road. His injuries were not life-threatening.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
