PHOENIX — There is a pretty good chance that the Valley is in store for a fairly wet weekend.
A spokesman for the National Weather Service said the bureau was keeping an eye on a storm that has heading toward the region.
Some parts of the Valley took in quite a bit of rain Friday morning, including thunder, while others got very little or none.
Hector Vasquez with the weather service said the storm was coming from the Northwest.
“We could get heavy showers, thunderstorms and strong winds Saturday night and early Sunday morning,” he said.
