PHOENIX — Goodyear Police have taken a husband into custody for the stabbing death of his wife, all while their seven children were in the house.
John Leo Davis 37, was booked Thursday night on charges of first-degree premeditated murder. His wife, Michelle Davis, 35, had been stabbed multiple times at the home near Cotton Lane and Lower Buckeye Road.
A police spokeswoman said the suspect called 911. Michelle Davis died at a hospital.
Authorities don’t know if the children, whose ages range from 3 to 15, saw the stabbing, but none were harmed. They were being cared for by other family members.
