In a study based off psychology’s personality dimensions, Arizonans were found to be some of the hardest-working people in the nation, Huffington Post reported.
Truity, a website that offers users free, scientific career and personality tests, surveyed 13,000 U.S. residents to determine what type of people live in each state.
The study revealed Arizonans were more likely to be “hardworking, no-nonsense folks who enjoy the company of others.”
Subject were rated using Big Five personality dimensions: extraversion, agreeableness, openness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism. This is the most commonly used model in psychology research.
Other personality traits states were sorted into included open minds, critics, characters, and friendly conservatives.
