PHOENIX — As rain engulfs the Valley going into Super Bowl weekend, the Waste Management Phoenix Open could continue into early next week.
With a 40 percent chance of rain on Saturday, the Open could possibly take a wash and resume Sunday and Monday.
Rob Myers, media relations director for the WM Phoenix Open, said fans who purchased tickets would not be refunded if the Open was delayed.
“Tickets are rain or shine,” Myers said in an email. “Day-specific tickets are not valid any other day.”
If the Open has to go to a Monday finish, Myers said they would allow fans in for free, although the hospitality venues would be closed and limited concessions would be available.
