PHOENIX — Super Bowl fans will have an opportunity to see all the big-game athletes Tuesday.
Players and coaches from the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will be together for the first time during Super Bowl season for the NFL’s Super Bowl XLIX Media Day at the U.S. Airways Center. The teams will meet with members of the press to discuss their feelings heading into the game.
“It is quite a scene in there with media from around the globe and something that fans probably never have seen before so I encourage them to come down,” NFL Senior Vice President of Events Peter O’Reilly said.
Fans are invited to watch members of the press conduct pregame interviews with the players and those that attend will have a unique way to listen in on the interviews.
“They can come down to U.S. Airways Center, be in there and listen in to all of the different interviews that are going on,” O’Reilly said. “Everybody gets a gift bag (with) a radio so they can listen to every interview.”
Media Day starts at 10:30 a.m., and doors open an hour before the event. Tickets are priced around $30.00 and can be bought online.
