PHOENIX — It’s a chance for frontier-history lovers to own items that once belonged to Wyatt Earp, Annie Oakley and Buffalo Bill.
An auction Thursday at J. Levine Auction and Appraisal in Scottsdale boasts those items and more.
Owner Josh Levine said one of the items is the Colt .45 that Earp carried after he left Tombstone, Arizona.
“The last Wyatt Earp Colt .45 sold for $225,000 but it was the OK Corral gun,” he said.
Levine said this gun should go between $50,000 to $100,000.
Annie Oakley’s Wild West Show gloves will also be up for bid, their estimated value between $8,000 and $12,000.
Also up on the auction block will be a dagger that was presented in 1873 to Buffalo Bill Cody by Alexander I, czar of Russia.
It’s expected to go for $6,000 to $8,000.
The auction begins at 11 a.m. at the southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard. The proceedings can be seen online.
