PHOENIX — Two Maricopa police officers fatally shot a man on Sunday. The incident is under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Police identified the man as 32-year-old Johnathon Guillory. Police say officers shot him because they felt threatened.
Police went to the man’s home after receiving multiple 911 calls.
According to Maricopa Police Department spokesman Ricardo Alvarado, the officers fired at the man about two minutes after making contact with him.
