The 10 most annoying things coworkers do

You get up, get dressed and head to work, day in and day out, to earn a living for yourself and your family.
Many of us work office jobs where interacting with coworkers is just part of daily life. Most of them are courteous enough that they don’t make you want to tear your hair out. Then there are the others who do.
Chances are, you know “that guy” or “that girl” in the office, the one whose annoying makes everyone’s eyes roll in disgust. If you don’t know someone like that, chances are that person is you.
Here are 10 of the most annoying things coworkers do as compiled by the fine folks over at Reddit, in no particular order.
WARNING: This list may make you extremely happy you’re not at the office. It could also lead to a long lunch if you are working.
Speakerphone star
Are you in a meeting, boardroom or the star of Hollywood’s next great evil boss film? If so, use that speakerphone to your heart’s content. If not, just pick up the phone like everyone else and have your conversation. We don’t need to hear about your dinner plans, business ventures or, as one Redditor shared, your colonoscopy.
Minnie the moocher
It’s hard enough to guard your food from the office thieves who lurk around the kitchen, the last thing anyone needs is someone mooching off your meal. Every once in a while it’s no big deal, but every day? Really?
KO’d by B.O.
It’s like high school gym class all over again. A little cologne, a little perform, a shower…something? Nothing is worse than spending a day in close quarters with someone who does not care about personal hygiene.
Chomping at the bit
Noisy eaters (and drinkers) are the worst. We know you’re hungry, but we’re also trying to work. Please spare us the constant chomping, gulping and anything else that you do at home on the couch. A little courtesy, please.
‘Guess what day it is?’
You know who you are. Stop it! You’re ruining Wednesday for poor ol’ Mike.
Gossip girl/guy
Many of us are at work 40 hours or more per week, you can’t help but socialize with your coworkers. Spending so much time with them means personal life issues will be discussed. But inevitably there is one person who seems unable to keep a secret and soon the whole office knows every little personal detail about your life. Come on guys and gals, be adults.
Tardiness is treacherous
We’re tired, we had a long day and just want to go home. Please be here on time for the shift change. You being late means we have to stay. We were here on time, you should be, too.
Abuse of paper
Every email, PDF, Google results page, etc. does not need to be printed. We live in an electronic world now that helps cut down the need to have everything in physical form. Tell that coworker to give the printer a break. They can print their autobiography at home.
Stop, thief!
Stop. Stealing. My. Pens. They’re like $2 for a pack of 10, go buy your own or at least put mine back when you’re done.
Variety’s the very spice of life
It’s not uncommon for coworkers to listen to the radio or play a little music while at work, but sometimes someone really, really likes one song. We get it, you like “Frozen.” Let it go.
