PHOENIX — For-profit Corinthian Colleges will sell its Mesa campus, along with dozens of others across the country, it was announced Thursday.
Everest College, at Baseline and Higley roads, will be taken over by ECMC Group, a Midwest nonprofit that specializes in college planning resources.
The school offers business, IT, legal and health programs.
Intense scrutiny from federal regulators, which included lawsuits, has pushed California-based Corinthian to sell most of its campuses.
The sale will allow students to continue with classes.
