PHOENIX — Firefighters from around the state honored those that lost their lives in service to their communities on Oct. 19, 2014.
The 31st Annual Professional Fire Fighters Association (PFFA) Memorial Service was held at the Firefighters Bell Tower in Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary and Cemetery in Phoenix. Fire departments were represented with honor guards, pipe bands and personnel, with hundreds of family members paying their respects.
“This is an opportunity to remember the dedication and courage of our fallen firefighters,” said PFFA President Bryan Jefferies. “We will never forget the ultimate sacrifice of these brave firefighters who worked to protect the citizens of Arizona.”
