PHOENIX — Remnants of gas odor from a repaired leak has forced five families in southeast Phoenix to find somewhere else to live for now.
Southwest Gas repaired the leak on a street near near 32nd Street and Frye Road for the past week, according to a local news report, but workers were still registering an odor — gas had bled into the ground.
The utility company didn’t have a timetable for when the families could return.
