PHOENIX — An Arizona medical examiner said a little girl whose body was found in a shallow grave in Bullhead City had been strangled to death.
Isabella Grogan-Cannella, 8, died of asphyxiation, a Mohave County official said.
Cannella went missing on Tuesday, last seen playing at home in Bullhead City with her older sister and friend of the family, Justin James Rector, 26.
Rector was charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping on Thursday.
A police statement said other details had not been determined.
