PHOENIX -- Police are looking for two men considered "persons of interest" in the killings of a married couple in their north Phoenix home.
Authorities issued composite sketches Wednesday of two men who were seen in the area days before last month's slayings.
Police said the men posed as cable company employees and tried to enter a neighbor's home. One man was described as white, 5-foot-7-inches with dark hair. The second was either white or Hispanic, 6 feet with dark hair.
The bodies of 81-year-old William Singer and 65-year-old Barbara Singer were found July 2.
Detectives determined trauma and evidence at the scene indicate the deaths were a double homicide.
According to police, the couple each withdrew money from a walk-up ATM about 15 minutes apart the night of June 28.
