PHOENIX -- Authorities said other motorists pulled a driver from her car after it caught fire on Interstate 10 in west Phoenix.
Local TV news reported that the 55-year-old woman was apparently unaware that her westbound car had a flat tire before it struck median cables and stopped Sunday afternoon.
Phoenix fire Capt. Ruben Saavedra said the driver didn't appear to have any injuries, but she was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
