Arizona man tries to skip security at Conn. airport, taken into custody

HARTFORD, Conn. -- Authorities used a stun gun to stop an Arizona man they said was trying to breach security checkpoint at Bradley International Airport.

Connecticut State Police said Deshommes Flynn, of Mesa, Arizona, was taken into custody Wednesday. They said he walked past several Transportation Security Administration officers and was nearing the full-body scanner with no intention of stopping. He was displaying no identification or boarding pass.

Officials used a stun gun on him and took him into custody. Flynn was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, which is department policy if a stun gun is used. He's due in court Friday.

Flynn faced charges of tampering with an airport, interfering with an officer, simple assault and breach of peace.
