GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. -- Authorities at Grand Canyon National Park say they're still searching for a man reported missing on a hike along the South Rim.
Park officials say 36-year-old Marc Buckhout was reported missing by a member of his family on Saturday evening. He's from the Phoenix suburb of Glendale.
Park officials say Buckhout was last seen at 4:30 p.m. hiking along the South Rim west of Grandview Point in the vicinity of Highway 64.
They say a dog team Tuesday searched the area Buckhout was last seen and a technical rescue team covered terrain near the South Rim.
A park helicopter searched the area on Monday along with ground teams, but there's still been no sign of Buckhout.
